Pick a card reading: what gift should I buy?

Hi everyone and welcome to another pick a card reading. Since, the winter celebrations are fast approaching , some of you might be out of ideas what presents to buy certain people. This reading is designed to help you, inspire you or maybe to give you a little hint, to what present you could buy.

Instructions:

  • Look at the image with the different symbols for as long as you need, while also thinking of the person who you'd like to buy the present for;

  • Choose one of the symbols, the one which you feel most drawn to; Jump to the interpretation;

  • Enjoy!

Sacred Heart:

I sense that you have quite a few options here. If this person is very passionate about something creative (arts, creative hobby, DIY, cooking etc.), then you're job is pretty easy, buy something related to their passion, or something to inspire them with (like a book, DVD, Music). Alternatively it could also mean that this person like to travel, or has to travel a lot, so buying them a handy travel item (pillow for plane or some other handy item like that) would be a good idea. The Hermit could also mean several other things, like a vouches for massage or spa, or an unusual lamp, or object for illumination. This might also like antiques.

Angel:

This person is quite versatile and you don't necessarily have to choose the right present, because they appreciate the gesture, and the thought more than the material representation of the present. But here are some ideas: Fancy wine, other finer alcoholic drink, or a set. This could also represent just the bottle, glasses, cups, cutlery sets.

The other card suggest that this person might like gardening, so, if you know they have a garden you can get them tools for their garden, or maybe a lawnmower. If they do not have a garden, they might like a very nice indoor plant.

Shooting Star:

I sense that this person like trouble or is in some ways a magnet for trouble. This means that they are probably very lighthearted and have a sense of humor. So my suggestion is something humorous to highlight their characters like a party game, poker set, drinking game, funny toy etc.

The other card suggest that they might own a car which they like to take care of and strive to have it in the best “shape” possible. Use this to buy them something for their car (voucher, air freshener, decorative item, gadget, new GPS...there are lots of things designed for cars, it depends on your budget)

Snowflake:

The wheel, can translate to many different things, but I'm picking up that this person like memories, and to sometimes dig in the past, so a personalized calendar with pictures capturing some unforgettable moments from their lives might be a good idea. But this could also mean a very nice picture frame, or a digital picture, a photo shoot, or something which either captures the glory of the past, or is from the past like collectible or some kind of memorabilia. An other possibility is that this person is a bit superstitious, so an item representing good fortune might come in handy for them, like a Buddha, lucky charm, fang-shui item, crystal etc.

The other card suggests that maybe a fancy wallet, card holder, phone case, money pot, piggy-bank etc.

Snowman:

The first card suggest that this person is quite intellectual, and has a very wise sphere of interests. This could mean that a non-artistic book might come in handy. It could be a book containing all sorts of interesting data like Guinness Book of World Records, Football (or any other sports you know they are interested in) themed book, Computer Game themed magazine/book, CD/DVD with a documentary about their favorite hobby/interest, voucher for applications on the phone, book store voucher etc.

The second card doesn't leave us too many options, because it clearly suggests sports, competition, challenge, so this may be a sport related item like T shirt, any other fan object, or a ticket to a future game they might enjoy. This could also mean a ticket to a concert, conference, e sports.

Pine tree:

The first card tells us that it could be an item which this person uses to gather information with. This could be a tablet, e-book reader, phone (or app for the phone), laptop, encyclopedia, language learning book/DVD. This could also mean other items which indirectly play a role like voucher for eyeglass frame, a very nice pen, diary, journal, printer, interactive AI. The second card suggests, that instead of an item offer them an experience. Take them out for dinner/drink, do something together, a trip, get-together, party, journey, holiday... any activity that you can think of that makes them laugh, be themselves and have fun.
